This Christmas was our first as a family of four, and it was great!
Christmas Eve night we ventured up to Maryland to see the Festival of Lights at the temple's visitor center. It was beautiful. Afterward we went to visit with Quiriam's family in Reston.
On Christmas day we slept in...till 9am! What a treat! We visited with family at my grandpa's home in the afternoon and then packed the babies back up for a little trip to DC. We went to see the White House and walked around the city for awhile. On the way home I announced that I was officially off of cooking duty for the remainder of the day (merry Christmas to me!) and if we were going to eat dinner we had better stop somewhere! Not many places were open, obviously, but we stopped in at TGI Fridays and ordered dinner to go. Yum!
I was so glad to be with Quiriam for those two days because he works such long hours every other day of the week and I've missed him tons!
We had a great Christmas and hope you all did too!

Gummy slept the entire time. He missed all of the pretty lights and everything!
Little Peachy was soooo tired but she was such a good sport and loved seeing the lights. Later inside we went to a concert. A choir was singing carols and Peachy enjoyed singing her own tunes along with them!
The concert.

The White House on Christmas Day.
After we got home Peachy was loving all over her baby brother. She calls him "Bay-bay". So sweet!

She thought it was pretty hilarious that he tried to suck her finger :)
Finally... bedtime!
