Ready or Not...

Well, I feel like a big wind just came through my life and blew things in every different direction. Regarding the end of this pregnancy, I have planned out how and when I wanted things to happen before the baby comes. I've scheduled events and things that had to be done and really...I am nothing without my lists and plans! I feel totally swamped without being able to control my time.

So, we found out at my weekly OB check-up that this little boy is ready to come out and face the world! He's due December 9th but the doc says he'll be shocked if he's not delivered in 2 weeks. I've already started dilating and Gummy's already in the head-down position and MOVING like I've never felt before with either him or Alliyah. I believe that he'll be here this month, in fact, I've been saying that all along! So, cross your fingers I make it to my own baby shower next week :)

So, now I'm scrambling to make up for lost time and get everything done much sooner. The only problem is, my body now moves slower than molasses between hefting huge Gummy around and still taking care of Alliyah. I don't know how this is supposed to all work out. I really don't. I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel yet. Just frustrating darkness. So, here are some of the things that have happened that I am soooooo glad are done. Take a look:

The Christmas Tree is Put Up and Ready to go (I know, I forgot the star and a few more lights!)
We were able to go through the DC Temple this past month and see some of our extended family. Such good memories :)
Peachy and I finally got over our yucky colds
We cleaned out Gummy's room and started setting some things up...like this swing that Peachy is keeping warm until he comes :)
Next on the list for the next couple days is to pick out a name, good grief we can't call him Gummy his whole life, clean out the entire basement and set it up as a romper room so the babies have a big area to play this winter. Next week we'll see what else we can get done :)
