"Trick or Peach!"

Happy Halloween!
We had a great time last night with our little Ladybug. We "trick or treated" around "Grandpoop's" neighborhood for awhile where she loaded up on candy. She loved it! It took her the first couple of houses to understand the concept of trick or treating, but when she did, she got really into it :) All the nieghbors offered their bowls of candy to her while she picked out her own treats and almost everytime she chose lollipops. In fact, she didn't let go of her lollipop stick even after the candy was gone. She loves them! (Don't worry- she also loves and even has a strange obsession with brushing her teeth ALL DAY LONG, so I don't think those lollipops caused much damage!)
Later, we went to Verizon (where Quiriam works) to show everyone her cute costume and rake in more goodies. Then, we visited with my brother Matthew who was stuck at work all night at Sears. (Peachy got lots of candy there too!) But, being at work did not stop Matthew from dressing up as "Flava Flave" the rap singer. So funny but wow, was his fake afro gross! Alliyah wouldn't stop yanking it off his head. She knew that's not what her uncle's hair really looked like!
Quiriam got off work early take us trick or treating so he was dressed in his normal shirt and tie, and I'm as big as a torpedo now so I just threw a gold headband in my hair and went overboard with the dark eyeliner...the effect was a sad attempt at a pregnant Cleopatra. Whatever. The best part of Halloween was watching Peach have fun, even if Quiriam and I didn't look as cute as our Ladybug :)

Can I have another lollipop, please?
Singing at the top of her lungs in front of Sears :)
Making sure she didn't have any missed calls while out trick or treating!

Yanking off Matthew's funky fresh afro
Zooming around in a shopping cart leaving Sears
